It is best taken as a tea in a decoction form. Put 1 heaping teaspoon of loose burdock root into a pot of 450ml of water, set on stove and bring it to a boil before lowering the heat to simmer for about 10 minutes. Alternatively, steep 1 heaping teaspoon of loose burdock root in a cup of hot boiling water (220ml) for 15 to 20 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
